Commission Your Painting

1. Contact me

Please send me full, high resolution photos. The better the photo the better the painting. Include your background color preference in the email. I will get back to you promptly and confirm your expectations and timeline.

2. Choose your art style and canvas size

3. Approval
I'll create a digital painting of your portrait. This way you can visualize what your final painting will resemble. If any final minor adjustments need to be made, they'll be done in this stage before the final painting begins.

4. Turn Around Time

Turnaround is usually 1-3 weeks. Please note that orders are not released until you see a final photo and payment has cleared. Your painting will be ready to hang when you receive it.

Tips for taking photos of your pet

Crouch down and get down to your pet's level. Try to fill the viewfinder with your pet's head and chest.

Photograph outside, not indoors with a flash. Natural light brings out the detail especially in dark and light colored pets.

Use a digital camera not a phone camera if possible. Most mobile phones do not produce a photo that has the depth and clarity of a digital camera. (There can be exceptions, depending on how close you are to your pet and the lighting.) Given a choice thought, your digital camera will produce a better photograph.

If you can not take a photo of your pet...
If your pet has passed away or you would like to immortalize them in their youth, I can work with whatever photos you have.
